I’m self-employed. Will I be covered on the job? YES, you are covered 24 hours a day 7 days a week  And if you have insurance with anyone else.....your most likely not covered for an individual policy. THIS IS CRITICAL TO KNOW because if you are not, and you get sick or injured on the job....they don't have to pay your claims. WE WILL (if you're not currently carrying workman's compensation).
 

Can they cancel my plan or raise my rates? You can never be singled out for a rate increase or cancellation. You can take your plan with you regardless of your job situation. The plan is portable, from state-to-state or job-to-job.

Can I really go to any doctor or hospital? YES. Our Freedom Plan gives you just that....Freedom to choose any doctor and hospital in the country. A true indemnity coverage. The payment for services is the same either way. We don't tell you who you have to see.....you have the freedom to choose! 

What if I travel out of my area? Your travel will provide you peace of mind because you can use this plan anyplace in the USA! There is no "out of network". We are true indemnity coverage. ++  

Who can get coverage? Who ever is interested in saving money on health care and other benefits can apply. The underwriting department will determine if you are eligible for insurance. However, if you were not...you are still eligible for other benefits that will provide health discounts and membership savings. Who is the insurance company, and what is their rating? Mid-West National Insurance Company of Tennessee is rated "A" by Fitch, and "A-Excellent" by A.M. Best+. You can research us through A.M. Best by calling 908-439-2200 or visiting their website. Our A.M. Best number is 06715.

I've never heard of you before, how do I know you're a "real" insurance company?  You may not have heard of us before, as we do most of our marketing through "word of mouth". Remember, as a Not for Profit, the "Alliance" helps keep your premiums down by providing group buying power and leaving a lot of the marketing cost for our individual agents to get this information to you (like us). 

I know many people who would like to save money and have long term security with their health coverage. I have been turned down by other insurance companies because they consider me "uninsurable." Do you have any program available for me? Yes we do. We have a Key Kard benefit that is not insurance, but it will provide great discounts on medical and drug services. And it is affordable for EVERYONE. The whole family can use these discounts.
